
Dr. Osahon Otaigbe, MBBS, MSc (LSHTM), FWACP, is a public health physician and biostatistician with extensive experience in disease surveillance, health promotion, and community-based interventions. With a postgraduate specialization in Public Health and Community Medicine, he has worked with governmental and non-governmental organizations to implement impactful health programs in underserved communities across Southern Nigeria.
Passionate about data-driven decision-making, Dr. Osahon Otaigbe holds a Master’s degree in Medical Statistics from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and regularly provides biostatistical consultancy for public health research and interventions. His expertise extends to infectious disease epidemiology, where he has contributed to outbreak responses for Lassa fever, Mpox, and COVID-19, among others.
A recipient of multiple professional and academic honors, he is also a university lecturer and continues to mentor the next generation of health professionals and researchers through his lectures and training sessions on research methodology, epidemiology, and biostatistics.
He is happily married to Ibukunoluwa Otaigbe and they are blessed with three sons.
